Nach ihrem viel beachteten Debüt „Windschatten“ (Oktober 2024) – ausgezeichnet mit zwei Amadeus-Award-Nominierungen, dem Hubert-von-Goisern-Kulturpreis 2024 und einem ARTE-TRACKS-Porträt – veröffentlicht die österreichische Musikerin Anna Buchegger ihr zweites Album „Soiz“.

Mit „Soiz“ stößt Buchegger das nächste Kapitel auf – eines, das gerade erst beginnt. Sie bleibt dem Dialekt als künstlerischem Statement treu und konfrontiert alpenländische Tradition mit Selbstironie, feministischer Haltung und avantgardistischer Klangsprache. Zwischen Clown, Couture und Tracht entsteht eine Kunstfigur, die Heimat nicht konserviert, sondern kritisch befragt.

Das Album stieg bis auf Platz 16 der österreichischen Albumcharts und markiert den Start einer intensiven Live-Phase mit über 40 Shows im Jahr 2026.

Her electronic music leaves room for vocals, with occasional piano and violin parts influenced by her classical music education and love for artists like Björk and James Blake. SISKA's unique style blends classical and electronic music harmoniously, creating an extraordinary atmosphere for her snapshot lyrics that evoke personal and melancholic emotions.

Lukas Oscar is an up-and-coming singer/songwriter and music producer with Filipino roots living in Vienna. The gifted musician not only mesmerizes and hypnotizes with his soothing, melancholic voice, but is also a very talented songwriter and pianist. He uses words and melodies as his candid thought process playground, describing his inner emotional world with shameless honesty and enabling the listener to have an uncensored look into his mind.

Sofie Royer is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vienna who translates her interest in classical tradition into shimmering electro-pop songs. She channeled her love for French chanson into her 2020 debut, Cult Survivor, and looked to Viennese opera and ballet for 2022’s Harlequin. She guested on Lewis Of Man’s latest record Cristal Medium Blue, and on Toro Y Moi’s MAHAL in 2022, and has recently opened for Lana Del Rey, Air and LCD Soundsystem. Earlier this year, Royer released “Paris is burning”, a duet with Alexander Dexter Jones. More music is on the way soon.

Writing songs has always been quite natural and ever-present in TOBY WHYLE's life. And he’s written plenty of them over the last decade. However, what’s new is the realisation that songwriting is one of his few means to slow down the bright and fast-paced world surrounding us. Driven by the urge to create and develop something new, he started to write again.
